This is the 4th book I've read of Sylvia McDaniels. Each book is better than the last. I usually prefer historical romances, even American Western period (check out her books from that period. They were also very good) I wasn't sure about this modern romance story. I read it in 1 night! It was 375 pages on my nook. Easy quick read, fun characters that grabbed my attention. And Mrs. McDaniels has improved in her writting style with each book! The wrap up could have had a bit more drama, but I still loved it. I'd love to see McKenzie find happiness, and would love a prologue chapter with follow up details.... I would reccomend this book. G

The Wanted Bride grabbed me from page one. The drama, the laughter, and the romance. Valerie was a thoroughly enjoyable heroine that really tickles you and touches you at the same time. Matt Jordan is utterly gorgeous and really, honestly believes that the only requirements that he needs in a wife are that they are good looking, intelligent, and does not lie. Boy he sure meets his match in Valerie. Think Clash or the Titans meets Legally Blonde! Valerie and Matt have such heat between them that it will take your breath away! Sylvia McDaniel has created some really likeable characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. The crazy antics, the war of wills, and the beautiful romance will sweep you off your feet! A must read! I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Good guys, bad guys, good women, strong women! Throw in some kids and this unique little story stole my heart! There were some spelling and grammer mistakes but they didn't detract from this author's unique style, the charming characters or the compelling story line!!

The Wanted Bride by Sylvia McDaniel is a totally fun read. Ms McDaniel has given us a runaway bride story that is well-written. Valerie set fire to the groom's corvette on her way out of town, had her wallet stolen on the bus and ends up stranded in Matt's small town. The characters are fantastic in this book. There is plenty of drama, humor and spice to keep the pages turning. I enjoyed reading The Wanted Bride and look forward to my next book by Sylvia McDaniel. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Loved it from the start to the end

Not a great read ~ the author repeated the "lies by omission" just a bit too much to be believable. It mirrored daytime soap plot lines.
