About the Author

Dr. Scott Roos, Ed.D. is an author and spiritual practitioner who teaches yoga, Ayurvedic Medicine, Vedic Astrology, and Sanskrit. He also does consultations and workshops for individuals, groups, and organizations.

He started in the Vedic Tradition in 1996 and has studied from some of the big names in the tradition: Gary Kraftsow (Yoga), Dr. Vasant Lad (Ayurveda), Hart DeFouw (Vedic Astrology & Yoga Philosophy), and Sally Goldman (Sanskrit).

He is an experienced educator with over 20 years of working with students in various contexts, from one on one tutoring, classroom education, test preparation, outdoor education, mindfulness education, and high school & college administration.
