Hair stylist Lindsey Ballard hates answering questions about her family’s country music roots in Nashville. She’s been avoiding music producer, Myles Emery, at all costs, who’s trying to write a book on her famous relative. But he can’t get to her today. It’s her wedding day. Or so she thought…

When Lindsey suddenly needs to call off the ceremony to Atlanta’s popular mayoral candidate, she makes her getaway with the persuasive producer, all the while trying to ignore the chemistry between them that had never existed with her ex.

Myles Emery has his own reasons for needing the truth about a country music legend–secrets the Ballard family keeps closely guarded. But when he happens to catch Lindsey running out on her wedding, he knows his luck is about to change. Too bad Myles wants Lindsey on first sight and the attraction is making it complicated to stay on task. “Uncovering her secrets” begins to take on a whole new, delectable meaning…

I enjoyed this book, but I felt like there were a lot of loose ends left over at the end. I liked seeing Lindsey and Myles get past their initial animosity and all their collective emotional baggage to find something very special together. I just would have loved to see the rest of the strained family relationships sorted out as well. And since I’m such a fan of reality-TV-style drama, I would have loved to know the rest of the story about the jilted groom as well.

I did not see the reason for calling off the wedding coming! Everything moved quickly after that. Lot of healing was needed between the sisters and once again it was proven that if you have any doubts, you shouldn't get married.

Lindsey Ballard unexpectedly calls off her wedding and while running away ends up running into the man looking to dig up her family secret. Myles Emery is writing a tell all book about country star Lara Kane who happens to be Lindsey's step-grandma. The two have an instant attraction that can get both of them into trouble. I really liked this book. I was hooked at the first couple pages and didn't want to stop and was only sad when it was over.

I loved this book. I joined Netgalley and this is the first book that I chose to review, and boy am I happy I did. I started reading There Goes the Bride yesterday afternoon and hated to put it down. Catherine Mann and Joanne Rock wrote a truly entertaining tale of what happens when a bride, who finds out that what was supposed to be the happiest day of her life isn't to be meets the man who is determined to expose one of her family's hidden secrets.

A great addition to the Runaway bride series. Lindsay, on the day of her wedding finds her husband with another woman, so what does she do, runs. She runs right into Myle's a music producer who is writing a book about her grandmother, country music singer. He has been trying to get the secrets from Lindsay's family. Can they fight the mutual attraction or will Myles get the secrets. A well written story, loved the family drama. A great entertaining afternoon read.

There Goes the Bride by Catherine Mann/Joanne Rock is book #3 in the Runaway Brides series published by Tule Publishing and is a great addition to the series. Lindsay Ballard is a hair stylist and about to get married, when just before the wedding she finds out her groom-to-be is not what he seems to be resulting in Lindsay taking off. Enter music producer Myles Emery who wants info on Lindsay's famous family, who Lindsay has distanced herself from. There is an instant attraction between the two and sparks fly. I found this story an enjoyable, fun read.  I received an ARC from the publisher for an honest review.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** It's Lindsey's wedding day and she just wants to see her groom one more time before the ceremony as a reassurance. On her way to find him, she runs into Myles Emery, a music producer who wants to run an expose on her beloved grandmother. To make matters worse, she finds that her husband-to-be isn't meant to be. She ends up making a quick escape with the assistance of Myles. The chemistry between them is like nothing Lyndsey has never experienced. As he keeps on digging, he can't help but start feeling guilty as he gets closer to Lyndsey. I really enjoyed getting to know Lindsey as she moved towards a new appreciation of her family and a life she could have. Myles is very determined. He's on a mission to get his mother the recognition she doesn't want when his course leads him to Linsdey. During the course of the book, Myles goes through a bit of self-realization that helps him to grow and make the right decisions. I really enjoyed this book. It was pretty light-hearted and a quick read. I would recommend it for anyone that enjoys this genre.

Very enjoyable read! On their wedding day, Lindsey Ballard finds her husband-to-be in an intimate moment with another. Realizing there is no way she would be getting married she runs. Right in to the arms of the last man she wants to see. Myles Emery has been trying to talk with Lindsey for weeks. He is writing a book and really needs to speak to her about some of the facts. When he shows up at the church he never expects to help the bride-to-be make a quick escape! This one is very well written and quite entertaining. I definitely recommend it!

When Myles Emory decides to write a tell all book about country music legend Lara Kane, he knows the best way to get the information he seeks is from her granddaughter, Lindsey Ballard. It might take a little work to get the information he seeks, but he is willing to do anything he has to. On the day of Lindsey’s wedding, she is desperate to talk to her future husband. She doesn’t believe in the old wives’ tale about it being bad luck for the bride and groom to see each other before the wedding. She quickly realizes her mistake when she opens the door and finds her man holding hands and gazing into someone else’s eyes. Myles is there to pick up their pieces. He quickly whisks Lindsey away from the wedding and they head to Nashville together. Lindsey is aware he is after information about her grandmother, but she refuses to talk. She just wants that ride away from all the people and hopes the photographers don’t follow her. Will the truth about Lara Kane be revealed at the music festival held in her name? Or, will Myles keep it to himself in order to win Lindsey’s heart? This book had just the right amount of love and passion that is needed to keep any romance reader interested.
