Three Nocturnes

(Hinshaw Secular). This is a fifteen minute work in three movements - the text to each penned by different lyricists in diverse styles dealing with the stars. Scored for mixed chorus (div.) with percussion ensemble, the texts come alive in Dan Forrest's lush harmonic writing and colorful use of the percussion.
