About the Author

Clare Revell lives in a small town in England with her husband, whom she married in 1992, and her three children. Writing from a early childhood and encouraged by her teachers, she graduated from rewriting fairy stories through fanfiction to using her own original characters and enjoys writing an eclectic mix of romance, crime fiction and children's stories. When she's not writing, she's reading, sewing, keeping house or doing the many piles of laundry her children manage to make. She has been a Christian for more than half her life. She goes to Carey Baptist Church, where she is one of three registrars.

Again, another story cloaked in religion. I like to read a book with religious content and undertones on occasion. What I do not appreciate however, is purchasing a book that is misrepresented. This book should have categorized or disclaimed as Christian-themed. I find it helpful to know in advance if I shall be reading Deuteronomy in the context of a newly purchased ebook.

Luckily this was a quick read. I kept hoping it would get better,it doesn,t. I cant imagine how this got into print other than the editor was just as ignorant of the times as the author. I thought it ironic she was proud enough of herself to let all know in print that she actually included a real life train derailment of the time, but had no notion of period customs and manors. The only thing that really was derailed here was the story. Total waste of time.

Jonni Peterson steps off a modern European curb and right into the mid-1800s. Under those circumstances, what's a girl to do but fall in love with the haughty, handsome, hunky lord of the manor? Having read several of Clare Revell's novella's, I can say without hesitation that Time's Arrow is my absolute favorite so far. The storyline beautifully melds the past and present, and creates circumstances that, while certainly not within the normal scope of reality, feels not only possible, but plausible. Kudos to the author for excellent characterization of the hero and heroine, and well-developed secondary characters, as well. I stand in awe of Revell's ability to pack an entire novel's worth of action and emotion into so few pages. A complete reading experience in a nutshell. Bravo, Clare Revell!

Time's Arrow is a wild story, yes the most important thing as a Christian-they have the characters have Faith. The main character Jonni has just broken up with her boyfriend-who by the way won't leave her alone-so she decides to go for a walk, after finally telling him to take a flying leap and never contact her again or she will get the police involved. The walk takes her to a corner where she stepped off the curb and....... You have to read the book to get the shocking, unreal thing that happens to her. You will love love love where it takes the story. Enjoy the reading! I received a copy of this book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all the opinions expressed in this review are all my own.
