About the Author

Dana Scott Westring attended Hasting College in his native Nebraska and graduated with a BA in Studio Art in 1975. He has worked as a freelance illustrator,  served as an art director at an international architectural/interior design firm, restored antique decorative art and murals, and designed and painted trompe l'oeil murals around the world. The last twenty years, Westring has focused mostly on drawings and watercolors of landscapes. He has a passion for garden design, and his garden has been published in a variety of books and magazines, including a feature article in “Martha Stewart Living.”
