About the Author

Neil Gordon is the author of the gripping and sensationally terrifying novel Joe Batters. This is the last untold, exclusive, and envisioned story of the 20th century of the Chicago Outfit.

Gordon’s story on himself though begins when he was a kid. His father Dean, a novelist of Caribbean intrigue, surrounded him with mystery, suspense, and adventure while growing up. In 1972 when The Godfather premiered it was no wonder, Gordon was hooked to the mystery and suspense it portrayed. While vacationing quite a bit with his father throughout his life, Nova Scotia was a frequent destination and also where some of his family still reside. While stopping to visit what was once his great-great uncles house, he didn’t realize at the very moment that he had stumbled upon Chicago’s mob boss Tony Accardo’s son, known as Stephen. Stephen’s mother was one of many affairs Tony Accardo took to his grave.  The story of Joe Batters started to manifest. After nearly ten years of research, writing, and re-writing, Neil Gordon is excited to share Joe Batters with mafia fans around the globe.
