I did not like the way Francine Rivers portrayed Mary... in the book, Mary was not humble and meek like the way she is in the Bible. Mary was pictured as a woman who was pushy and who was so eager for people to recognize Jesus as the Messiah so her needs could be meeted. Though I know Francine Rivers was trying to make Mary seem like us, I don't like the way how impatient Mary was. I also don't think this book can be compared with the other books in the series. I felt as if the book was more choppy than Unveiled, Unashamed, Unspoken, and Unshaken. This book was okay, but I would have liked it better if Mary was portrayed more humble and patient.

You will really like these short stories that pack so much into them. If you are a christian woman, these books are a must! This story is about Mary and her struggle raising Jesus and his siblings. This is her struggle to get the truth out without hurting Jesus. I like these books. Out of all of them in the series, I thought the dialogue in this book was the most unrealistic of them all but still entertaining and fun to read. This is a fun series to share with a church book club.

I thought this book was wonderful. Rivers is as always true to the Bible while telling a woman's point of view of Biblical events. She touched on so many things about what it would have been like to be chosen to be the mother of the Savior. This book is amazing, I felt like I was actually going through the experience with Mary.

I don't even enjoy reading much, but this book was so wonderful I could barely put it down. It brought to life a story which happened 2000 years ago. It helped me to better understand what I must have been like to be the mother of Jesus Christ. A very touching story.

I don't even like to read much, but I just couldn't put this one down! It really helped me understand what it must have been like to be the mother of Jesus Christ. It takes what happened 2000 years ago and makes it come alive. I highly recommend this book!
