In the summer of 1966, Maggie receives a mysterious inheritance -- a journal from a long-lost relative. 

From the first page, Maggie is immersed in the colourful history of her forebears -- from 1800s England to colonial Australia, to Paris in WW1 -- before learning she's inherited more than just the book.
