Undraland by Mary E. Twomey

One sexy garden gnome changes everything...

Still reeling from the deaths of her family, Lucy Kincaid is struggling to get her life back on track. But when the short-tempered and sexy Jens saves her from an attack, Lucy is swept away to a world she's never imagined. Suddenly, fairytale creatures are no longer make-believe--and adventure is hers for the taking.

As Lucy delves deeper into this fantastical realm, she encounters oversized garden gnomes, warrior elves, Nøkken, Fossegrimens, and worst of all, Sirens with a vendetta. But can the irresistible garden gnome, Jens give her the "happily-ever-after" she's always dreamed about? Undraland is book one in a nine-part fantasy romance series.

Lucy Kincaid is no stranger to tragedy having lost her parents and her twin brother Linus at the same time. Lucy's life only involves Tonya and Danny. When a bear attacks Lucy on her way home from college campus only to be saved by handsome stranger. Jens has always protected Lucy's family unknown to Lucy. Jens knows that Lucy won't understand anything about Undra without explanations from someone she trusts. Alrick or Uncle Rick as Lucy knows him tells her everything that she needs to know about Undra and it's people. Will Lucy accept her new reality? How will Jens help? Your answers await you in Undraland. I liked the premise of this book. Upon reading the book I'm not much of fan now. The whole world within a world concept has been done better by other authors like Guy Stanton III. The story while unique just fell flat for me. Some of the characters were really good and others were just flat as cardboard. I wish the author luck in the future.
