A study of the traces of use and manufacture of bone by the Inuit from the Mackenzie Delta in the western Arctic. Le Moine describes the methodology very thoroughly, including experiments that were carried out to reproduce aspects of bone use, and then presents the results of analysis of the evidence from several sites and discusses manufacturing techniques. There is also a catalogue and plates showing markings on the bone.
