Soon after being elected Sheriff, Sean Neumann narrowly escapes an attempt on his life. Then, a prominent citizen is discovered dead. As Sean investigates the suspicious connections between the two cases, multiple suspects emerge and a weapon suddenly appears. Cheryl Seton, owner of the local newspaper, is researching a mysterious murder that occurred over a century ago. Can Sean find answers before he or someone else falls victim?
