About the Author

Bishop Downing is the Senior Pastor at Living Faith Christian Center. He and his wife have been married more than 26 years, it has taken them from a life in the military to pastoring a church in the local community.
Together, they obeyed the voice of God and stepped out on faith to establish their own church. The church started out in a hotel but soon grew. Now they have a church and a family life center on a nine-and-a-half-acre lot. They have been blessed with the best congregation this side of heaven, and the best is yet to come. The thirty-year mortgage on the church was paid off in five years.
They also have a school of theology in Columbia, South Carolina, a school of theology in the Philippines, and a school affiliated with them in Australia. God has granted them favor as they walk through this Christian journey, believing God, putting Him first in their lives, and walking by faith.
