Many years ago, during a lunar eclipse, a young boy witnesses the moon disappear from the dark night sky. But where did it go? His mother tells him a fantastical tale in which the moon is swallowed whole by a massive whale. And if he doesn’t throw it up, the moon will never grace the velvet night’s sky again.
