What a wonderful new book for a new series for Rachel Schurig. If you've read her previous series (Three Girls or Lovestruck to name two) then you know she writes a sweet story with real problems. If you haven't read any of her other works - get to it! This tells the story of Iris, a big time city girl that's crashed and burned who has had to move back to the family home in Lilac Bay - an idyllic tourist town cut off from some of the modern trappings of society. There, she reconnects with family, makes new friends and, like any good story, there is a love interest from the past to contend with! This book had me gripped till the end wondering what decisions Iris would make - and would she overcome her fears. I highly recommend this book and can't wait for the next installment in this series (which I hope will be Posey's story).

Another brilliant book by Rachel Schurig! I loved delving into new characters and already can't wait for the 2nd book in the series (which is advertised at the end of the book, so there will be one, phew!) This is a story about Iris, who has lost her job, her man and her way, so she goes back to her family for help and guidance. She has to make new decisions on what to do with her life, and it is really nice to see the character change and develop throughout the book. I have read all of Rachel's books, and this one doesn't disappoint! It is refreshing, light, funny and romantic!
