I found these books when my son had to do a report on a real person. I think he was in 5th or 6th grade. You would think by the cover that they are for younger kids but we read it together and we both loved it. It is history but in a way that kids understand. It gives all the details of his life that you need but in a fun way. We now have a collection of these books and my younger kids are starting to read them. I have to say that I am just as excited when we get a new one as the kids. How wonderful to have books that make historical people fun to learn about. I wish they made more!!

I have purchased several "Who Was" books for my 7 year old grandchild who loves to read about history and the people and events therein. These books have all proven to be interesting and informative. However, after reading the "Einstein" book, I decided it was not age appropriate. The single page I am referring to is a much to vivid description of the dropping of the atomic bomb over Japan. I will therefore hold off on giving it to him for a few years. Although this is a tragic event, it is too graphic for a 7 year old child.

Who Was Albert Einstein? by Jess M. Brallier is a terrific book that tells all about his personal life not only his professional life. It tells it in a way that makes this genius a normal guy that is a lovable person from a child to the end. Great job. Lots of great sketches and over 100 pages of interesting info packed in this book.

How many pages r in the sample? I read a sample on another who was book, and it was just random stuff, so do we even get into the text, or is it just random stuff. I tried to send this but it said i had to finish the rating by tapping on the stars so the stars on this rating mean nothing. I just like to give people high praise.
