This is a children's picture book, but it is also a coloring book. It can be colored by the child as he or she reads the story, or be colored by an adult as a stress release or a special hand colored picture book for a child. It has colorful pictures and a fairly simple story based on Hawaiian legends of long ago. It is a part of Mr. Jorgensen's series of children's Hawaiian picture books. Most of the story can easily be read by a child reader, But it is also a good book to be read to a child by an adult. He has produced over 200 other works of beautiful Hawaiian art sold in Hawaii and on the internet. Most of his work is as large canvas wall hangings, some of which are reduced to coloring pages in some of his books.
