I was looking for a gift for my daughter and her husband when they joined the Seattle Methodist Church recently and discovered Why I Am A United Methodist. As with the author, an authority in the topic, I was "born" a Methodist, but I discovered that I have a lot to understand. He explains in clearly. I ordered a copy of the book for myself as well as for them. As a Sunday School teacher I find it very helpful as well as personally informative.
