Just filmed by David Mamet, starring Nigel Hawthorne and Jeremy Northam, The Winslow Boy is based on the real-life court case of a young naval cadet unjustly accused of stealing a five shilling postal order. An eminent—and initially unsympathetic—QC takes on the case, and the boy has to withstand the full might of the Royal Naval Establishment seeking to discredit him.

Though the cover may seem boring but a peep inside the book and you'll come to know that the characters represent many of the people you know. Its enjoyable all the way.The characters played by Dickie,Violet and Miss Barness add humour to the story. There are also various hillarious references from Arthur and Grace's day to day lives. The plot may be a bit complicated at places but this story believes that alls well that ends well as Ronnie finally gets justice.
