Northern Avaria is in the grip of a terrifying illness. Singer Ellie Evans and the Celestial dragon, Bendrith are sent to heal a village that has succumbed to the illness, but they're separated enroute. Imprisoned by forces that seek to destroy Avaria, Bendrith has to find a way to guide Ellie to fulfill her destiny.
