Okay, full disclosure! Remy is probably my favorite swat wolf. It takes some woman to meet up to my standards for him. Triana has my seal of approval. During a training stint in New Orleans, he reunites with his high school friend and she is all grown up in all the best ways. They both live in different parts of Texas but find each other in the home state. They immediately renew the friendship and step it up quickly. However, Remy backs off when he realizes how deep his feelings are. Not up to another loss. While he and the team are called on to help with an ongoing criminal problem, Triana digs into the unsolved murder of her father. Ms. Tyler presents us with another book filled with action, danger, loyalty, and plenty of steam. Abby Craden does a great job with the narration. As with all of the swat books I loved this one and listened in one day. A 5 star recommend from me.

Another great Swat series story. Some members of the Swat team go to New Orleans (NO) to do some training for the NO swat team. In the previous books in the series the team shifters have been find their One Fated Mate. One member, Remy, has had and lost his mate during a mission and doesn't want another. But when he arrives back in his hometown of NO he runs into a former class mate, Triana. and their attraction to each other cannot be denied. Trouble comes their way when they discover information concerning Triana's murdered father, that also involves life changing info concerning Triana herself. Pick up this terrific book and find out what happens between these two great characters, the secrets that will be revealed, and the life threatening danger it puts them in. If you love reading paranormal romance with danger and thrills this book is for you. Wolf Hunt can be read as a stand alone, but reading any of the previous books in the series really adds that extra punch and enhances each story in the series.

Wolf Hunt is the 6th book in Paige Tyler’s SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team series. It’s a standalone but you would enjoy it more by reading the other books first. There is a lot of information regarding these werewolves and their pack that becomes more enriched with every installment. I have read them all and they continue to get better and better which I find to be very impressive, all things considered. Wolf Hunt is about resident bachelor and New Orleans native, Remy Boudreaux. Remy and a few of his other Dallas SWAT team members are in New Orleans to do some cross training with the NOPD. He stumbles into his high school friend Triana Bellamy who is in town visiting family and friends. As with the other books in the series, we soon find out that Remy and Triana are destined to be together although they don’t know it yet. To further complicate things, Remy and his packmates end up assisting the NOPD with their attempts to take down a known meth drug kingpin. But it doesn’t stop there, Triana has a private detective looking into who brutally murdered her father two years ago. Information comes in from all directions that put Remy and Triana in a tailspin that has a huge impact on their relationship and their lives. I love how Paige continues to expand the Werewolf lore and creates a different way to look at their existence. The introduction of Triana’s mom, Gemma was a good way to show that the werewolf secrets aren’t held by the werewolves alone. Gemma was a great source of information and I really loved her spirit. Triana had a lot of her mother’s traits and proved to be a very strong black woman too. Of course, it’s always fun to see how the SWAT pack members harass each other like frat boys but will do whatever it takes to keep each other safe. The pack is very big on family and I can appreciate that. They may not always get along but they will defend each other to the end. Wolf Hunt was packed with plenty of sexual energy as well as some fierce fight scenes. I was drawn in from the very beginning and it was hard to put the book down. Even though some things were predictable, there were still some pleasant surprises. I look forward to see what happens when the next pack member finds “The One.” **Received a book copy from Sourcebook Casablanca and voluntarily reviewed.**

Review: WOLF HUNT (SWAT Book 6) by Paige Tyler Publication Date: June 6, 2017 Genre: Paranormal Romance Reviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ Donna Rated: 5 Stars Fun, fast paced cat-and-mouse story. The SWAT team once again comes to the rescue in all their glory. Remy had some hang-ups, but he got his head on straight. I loved that it was set in New Orleans and delved a toe into the mystical possibilities of the city. It added a fun edge to it all. Triana was fun, and her reaction to learning about werewolves was realistic. I thought she pushed one investigative scene past her personality, but it worked out and I easily forgave her. I loved it, and can’t wait for the next one. *Review copy provided NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

He's there with three of his fellow Dallas SWAT officers for a week of training with the NOLA PD. On the eve of a tropical storm, Remy and his buddies prowl the French Quarter. One tantalizing scent captures Remy's senses, forcing him to follow until he is face to face with Triana Bellamy—his beautiful high school crush. After reconnecting, Remy and Triana are close—very. But when a mysterious wolf pendant ropes them both into danger, Remy's protective instincts kick in. He may have to reveal his true self...and hope Triana accepts him. My Thoughts Taking place outside the confines of Dallas locales the team members of SWAT selected to accompany Remy are stoked to be in New Orleans for a week. Even though the purpose is not for enjoying the non-stop partying but working with the NOPD the men are still excited to be in the Crescent City. On their first night Remy cannot stay away from the most enchanting fragrance he has ever come across, to his surprise when he locates the source much to their mutual delight it is an old friend from High School. When words like Destiny and Fate come into play expect the romance to be off the charts from the beginning and yet it seems that this time action took center stage for a nice change of pace for the members of SWAT who still managed to enjoy the novelty of Ladies Man Remy Boudreaux apparently finding himself off the market. Triana Bellamy has changed from the shy girl Remy crushed on in High School to a beautiful, sexy, confident woman he finds himself even more attracted to all these years later. To say the least this series delivers with each new romantic pairing and each new leg on the journey of discovering the threat facing the werewolf packs. As with the previous reads there is an overuse of explaining The One and the reluctance to admit the connection on a deeper level that Remy feels for Triana mentioned enough times to become annoying. Thankfully those two peeves are the only things in the story that really chafe me when reading the book, otherwise I enjoyed this foray back into the SWAT world and it's characters, both primary and supporting. Guess have read too many paranormal romance couples stories that use these same tactics to drive home those points. The good thing about this story is that there are several plots taking place at the same time so when one seems to run it’s course the other picks up the slack keeping the reader involved in the ongoing arc that will be further addressed in book seven later on near the end of 2017. Wolf Hunt by Paige Tyler is the 6th book in her wonderful SWAT series. I love this series by Tyler, as she always manages to give us an exciting, fun, action packed, sexy story, with a great couple. Of course, it is always nice to learn more about our Hot hunks that are members of the Dallas SWAT team. It doesn’t hurt that they are all sexy alpha werewolves. The story starts with Remy Boudreaux, our hero, on a mission that kills his girlfriend, and leaves him near death. We pick up a few years later, where Remy is now a member of the Dallas SWAT team, and we learn that he was turned into werewolf to save his life. Remy and his three fellow members of the Dallas SWAT team attend training in New Orleans, his old home town. When they go to the bar at night, Remy scents someone from the past that he knew from school. We meet our heroine, Triana Bellamy, who had a crush on Remy in high school. The attraction between them is immediate and strong; before long Remy begins to feel a bond develop. His friend’s tease him, asking if she is “the one”, as legend says a werewolf will find his “one” mate, and it seems lately that the Swat members are slowly finding their “one”. Remy does not want to hear this, as he does not want to be hurt again or put anyone close to him in danger. But fate is making it difficult to ignore his intense feelings. Triana works in California as a scientist in a CSI lab, which helps discover clues such as DNA, etc. Triana is home to visit her mother, who runs a voodoo shop, and also wants to find out more information as to who murdered her father. When she sees someone badgering her mother to sell them a missing wolf pendant, or the store, her suspicions rise. While Remy and the guys are working with the New Orleans police, they help on a real assignment to catch a drug lord. As the tension escalates, this will eventually coincide with Triana’s quest to find her father’s murderer. What follows is an exciting, tense, pulse pounding adventure putting Triana and her mother in danger; as well as pulling Remy and his friends to help. What I love about this series is not only the suspense and action packed story; but Paige Tyler always gives us a wonderful sexy couple. Remy and Triana had sizzling chemistry, and were great together. She knew Remy was the man for her, and he was doing all he could to step away, so not to see her get hurt. But when push comes to shove, Remy finds out that not being together will not protect Triana. Her research into her father’s murder will put her in deeper danger, and he will be forced to find a way to save her, as she was in terrible danger. Triana will also learn the truth about Remy and his SWAT members. Will she try to stay with Remy knowing what his really is? I love this series. It is always fun, exciting, sexy, with a fantastic group of characters that make up the SWAT team, and their eventual mates. Paige Tyler does it so well, putting the story in the forefront and at the same time giving us a beautiful romance. If you have not read this series, you are missing a gem.

Back home in New Orleans for some tactical training with the local PD, Remy Boudreaux’s nose is seduced by the most enticing scent; he needs to know from whom it emanates, and it comes from his high school friend, Triana Bellamy, who has turned into a beautiful swan. Her scent overwhelms him, she might be his soul mate, but the love of his life was murdered in a most horrifying way and Remy does not want to get involved seriously again, but a sizzling affair, he can handle. Or can he? Even though WOLF HUNT is the sixth book in the SWAT series, it stands perfectly alone, as the setting is different and few references are made to the Dallas SWAT team. I couldn’t wait for Remy’s story, and yet it’s Triana who totally seduced me; she is a marvellous character, and her grandmother nearly steals the show, as does Max Lowry – a SWAT colleague of Remy’s in Dallas. The romance is lovely, but I was disappointed in Remy, as I barely detected the charming rogue he appeared to be in the previous books, and he upset Triana, and I disconnected a bit from the romance, although things turned out well later on, and it was done in a realistic manner. Strange to say, although the SWAT story is captivating, it is Triana’s I found more interesting. The action sequences are positively cinematic, the writing flawless, the dialogues excellent, but then again, this is normal from Paige Tyler. WOLF HUNT is more of a straightforward romantic suspense until the very end, and also rather light on the paranormal, until Paige Tyler stuns us. Again! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Anything can happen in NOLA and for Dallas SWAT werewolf, Remy Boudreaux, that would mean forgiving himself and letting himself love again. It is going to take his nerdy high school crush, Triana Bellamy, now all grown up mother to crack through the shell around his heart to help him learn to love again. This is a high energy, fast paced sweet and sexy addition to the series and I thoroughly enjoyed every page. This book also hints at a danger to the wolves much bigger than any perp they’ve encountered to date. Bring it!

A sexy cajun and an alpha male all in one package. What more could you want? Remy and Triana were friends from high school that lost touch after graduation. A night out on Bourbon Street with friends reunite them and they discover the connection and chemistry between them is still there. They are both in town for the week and decide to hang out and have fun. There's fun but also there's a hurricane, drama and suspense. This is a great series and I love all of the members of the SWAT team. I received an advanced reader's copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

So much of the story was boring and way too long. Less sex scenes and more action would have made the 400 pages a better read.
