Bendis, Wood, and Aaron show how an X-Title crossover should be presented. While Battle Of The Atom was far from perfect, it was a very solid, character based event that didn't take much away from the individual books. There was time travel wackiness, mysteries, and emotions. The main crux of the book, time travel can cause issues, is still alive and well. I'm not exactly sure much was solved by this event though. The Cyclops/Wolverine tension is still present and not showing signs of evaporating. The book was fun though, and that's not always easy with angsty X-Titles. The art throughout was very well done. Overall, the crossover reminded me of X-Titles of old and I appreciate that.

One of the worst X-Men stories even written. The whole story is pointless and contradictory. Lazy writing on Bendis' part.
