I am 15 yrs old and i picked up the book because its cover was so colorfull i assumed it was about teens ' it was also left in the corner of the teen section' when i started reading it and found out it was about a prayer group of middle aged women i was suprised but i also couldn't put the book down.. i finished it in 1 day and am about to buy #2. I am so happy there is something i can actually read out there that isn't always about the drugs and the sex/boys ' hard life' for somebody to come to God because i can't really relate to having a hard life but this book intergrated many situations and it was easy for me to find parts of me in each member of the prayer group . A DEFINITE BOOK CLUB READER AND JUST A GOOD SUMMER READ. p.s. either i'm really emotional but this book had me shedding tears faster than icecream in the summer heat.

This book is about a woman named Jody Baxter. Jody is a Christian and has been for many years. Her boss and friend Avis Johnson, who goes to worship with her, asks her to go to the Chicago Women¿s Conference. At the conference she and Avis are put in a prayer group with a variety of other women. Throughout the conference the prayer group gets together to pray. But near the end of the conference, one of the women is called away because of an emergency. The ¿Yada Yada¿ prayer group creates a prayer chain for the whole night. After the conference the women decide they need to continue to meet and every other Sunday all the women would go to another woman¿s place of worship. One Sunday night, Jody is mad at her husband for drinking. She¿s going to be late, and it¿s pouring down rain. What will happen when a young boy runs in front of her car? All in all, I enjoyed this book. It was encouraging to anyone who is going through a crisis. I enjoyed it because it was very detailed and had a good story-line. I enjoy reading books like this because they are about people like me who have gone through many problems but are still faithful. All in all, I would recommend this book to any Christian. Also I would recommend the book Uncommon Faith.

I am a lawyer and spend much of my life reading dreary material or reading novels that are just suspenseful this novel is not only a very inviting and fulfilling read, it helps one find a positive feeling and has a stong reminder of the need for praise

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the whole series. It was entertaining and educational as far as cultures and scriptures. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and definitely have already.

I wish there were more writers like this that are willing to write a good quality book. I can't tell you how many books I have started reading only to find swearing and things I don't agree with. I read this book today and immediately put the rest of the series on hold at my library. i will recommend this book to everyone!

Its so great to know we have authors out there who REALLY give us something we can recommend -- so delightful and light for a change of pace that Christian women everywhere will love -- ALSO great to give to your non-believer friends who WILL get the message in a way that none can be offended. They will have fun and not realize what a witness they have in their hands! I have read the first 2 of Neta's Ya Ya books and have to admit I am HOOKED!!

A great story written to tell of a women who figured out what righteousness is all about. Jodi Baxter discovers that when we receive Christ we are made righteous and there is nothing that we can do to earn it. This is a lesson that is quite valuable for any Christian. Take the box off of Christianity, get out of the religious fix, and realize that God's love is not based on works.

If you want a fun read about girlfriends, YadaYada Prayer Group has laughter, drama, tender moments of developing friendships, told in a delightful style with dry humor and warmth. If you want a book that will encourage you in your Christian walk--wherever you are on that walk--there is something in this book for you. These ladies dig deep into one another's lives, and they show what true, sisterly love is all about.

What a great story. Not my normal read at all but loved the ladies in the prayer group. They were all from various backgrounds, ethnicities and income levels but God brought them together for a purpose. Some of them had huge personalities.

Easy to read, somewhat predictable story line.  While I will probably read the other books in the series, I agreed with other reviewers who noted the whiny needy traits of the protagonist.  Definitely different & worth a try.

Getting ready to start #5 of this series! I love this series. What I love the most is that not only do I get to read a story but my spirit is also being filled with scripture and reminders and teachings come from the story too... love seeing how I can apply my faith more...
