Once upon a time, there lived a great warrior, Chief Kensou, the Great Father, who was a
good and fair ruler. He lived in a tiny village nestled deep within the grasslands of northern
Japan. My ancestors, who lived under his rule, respected him because he, in turn, respected
them. Each born with a unique skill, my ancestors, passed on their knowledge to all the children
in the village.
