Zabibah Wal Malik: An Arabic Novel

When Saddam Hussein was writing Novels, he was acting the role of common man, describing a male dominated culture covered with ignorance, illiteracy, and witchcraft . As a leader he did not lack resources or power to make a change, instead he used power and wealth for other purposes. Zabiba Novel is similar to Shahrazad and King Shahrayar, Saddam was showing injustices, but not able to repress such injustices as a leader of his people.
