What Happened To The Great Commission

Why has Christianity fallen to the point that people who were brought up in the church, have now left the church? What happened to all of the millions of people who were, "won", "lead", "brought" to a saving knowledge of Jesus. What happened to all of the "new Christians"? The answer lies in Matthew 28:20 (NKV): "teaching them to observe all the things that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
