About the Author

Xavier Bétaucourt is a French writer, born in Lille, France. He studied literature and film before becoming a television journalist. After creating his own magazine dedicated to the 9th Art, he dove into the world of sequential storytelling. Mixing his background in journalism with his passion for illustrative art, he wrote two nonfiction comics: Bouclier Humain (Human Shield) with Grand Angle, then Noir métal (Black Metal) through Delcourt. In 2016, he released Le Grand A (The Big A), a biographical comic through Futuropolis, and most recently, his autobiography with Too Old for You.

Yannick is a French writer and artist. He released his first book, Albin and Zélie, in 2012, which launched his career as a comic creator. He collaborated with writer Bétaucourt to create Too Old For You, which was originally published in French in 2015, with La Boîte à Bulle.
