When I Was A Coal Miner

This is a true story of a young pastor who moved from Michigan to West Virginia to pastor a small church in a coal mining community. To support his family he went to work in a deep coal mine called, Olga Coal Company; the same coal mine as in the movie, October Sky. In an entertaining fashion, the book exposes the hardship and dangers miners face everyday in coal mines and life in a coal mining community from a pastor's point of view.
