Marjorie Yvette Booker was born in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. She received her early education in Jamaica and in London, England. After moving to the U.S.A. in 1954 she later graduated from L.I.F.E. Bible College, California State University at Los Angeles (B.A.), Pepperdine University (M.S.) and the American International University (Ph.D.).
