Delois Ford Perry was born in Conway, Arkansas where she lived until she graduated from Pine Street High School. She experienced college life at Tuskegee Institute (University) later transferring to Fayetteville State University, North Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Studies.
