Sheila M. Kippley (b. 1939) has promoted breastfeeding and mother—child togetherness for over forty years. Her works Breastfeeding and Natural Child Spacing and The Art of Natural Family Planning (co—authored with her husband, John), are classics in their field. The Kippleys have raised five children and have ten grandchildren.
