First of all, this book just screams trying too hard. The beginning was odd, but I chalked it up to writing style and I continued reading because it was potentially interesting in a "what the heck?" Kind of way. I was so very wrong. This ...thing... is a complete mess to me. It goes from one thing to the next with no seemingly visible connection. The guy in the beginning was brought up several times in the 115 pages I endured of this, but I swear he has schizophrenia because they were completely different characters with the same name: Schmedlap. Like another reviewer said: the writing is unintelligible. When I read it, I felt aa if I was just reading words and not a story. Seriously, there is no word to describe how confusing it is. Warning: contains adult language and situations.

I made it to page 70 and still felt completely lost. the author has excellent use of imagary and vocabulary, however it is meaningless prose with nothing holding the plot together.
