This was a decent short story

This is a quick read and being free just makes it better. This story sucked you in and made it very hard to put down. Give it a whirl. It's free and if you don't like it, delete it.

    more from this reviewer

    A train wreck

The language is vulgar and story could have been written by a highschool student. But it was a fast read and I couldn't put it down. Terrible unrealistic story but I had to finish it.

Written by a twelve year old?

One: Does Smashwords employ an editor? This story reads like a quickly fleshed out outline. Was there no one to give the author some constructive feedback? There were so many points that should have been developed, so many times someone should have said to the author " You need to re-write this a little(okay, a lot!). Two: This story has no sense of reality. I wonder if it was written by a child as there are just too many instances of the main character's incredible luck, skill, his lack of feelings about what he has done and seen. His sentence structure, grammar, and spelling all suggest a middle school education(and a poor one at that). I realize this is a free book, but the author needs to have some self esteem. I mean, I would be embarrassed to show this book to people with my name as author. Oddly enough, I do recommend this book. Everyone needs to have a reference point for "THE POOREST WRITTEN BOOK THEY'VE EVER READ". This book serves this purpose nicely.

    Spirit

I think it reads as if it were written at breakneck speed from beginning to end, Don't think the author paused to take a break. It could have been very good and showed signs of that at times. It was certainly action packed ( so much so we lost the story) and the ending lost all the steam and fell flat. Glad it was a short story.

    Ugh

The storyline was ok, but the fact that it was so poorly written ruined it for me. The ending sucked too.

Sorry....the typo on the first page was annoying enough.

I tried to read it but it was bad. I appreciate that it was free, but I couldn't get past the typo on the very first page ("is" instead of "its") and the writing was rather juvenile.
