    more from this reviewer

    Entertaining short story

Although it seems like only a portion of a larger novel, this story stands well on its own and also is a quick entertaining read. Jack lives the life of a spy in Russia, but has all kiinds of weapons and back-ups at his disposal. If you are a '24' fan like me, you see this Jack like another one - Jack Bauer. Both the killings and the situation are a little far-fetched but that makes it so much fun to read!

    Zero Stars!!!

Bad plot, bad writing style, so unoriginal you will laugh out loud. Seriously, it is not worth reading even though it is free.

12 pages - only arguably worth downloading

Yes it's free, but it's hardly even short-story length. Reads like someone's high-school writing assignment for "How to combine every action novel cliche into the smallest number of words possible."

    Skip.

This was an OK short story. I don't think I would have liked it if it was much longer.

    Slightly Painful

Unless your a person who enjoys reading extremly cliche books, I wouldn't recommend this title. The ideas that were used to create this book did seem to be very close to a copyright issue. The writing was poor, and the length cant capture the depth that the plot fails to provide. Yes I meant to word this sentence exactly as I wrote it. The story was written in the sense that there is some deep plot at work, when truely the plot is paper thin. The length of the story allowed for no development. Again, I do not recommend this title.

    Another great lunchtime escape

Pulp fiction style gritty humor. Machismo and action. Picture an action sequence from a Bond movie turned into a short story.
