When a man thinks he has nothing to live for, life has a way of coming full circle
Dobson Winters had one love, his wife Miranda, who loved Christmas. Now, she's gone and he has shut himself off from the rest of the world, refusing to celebrate the holidays. When Curtis Watson calls to him and with his dying breath, he informs him he must find his daughter, Holly, court her, and marry her in order to save his soul. He's stunned. Yet, redemption has never come in such a lovely and unexpected package as Holly Watson and her niece Lucy. Stubborn to the end, it takes the gift of admiration in a child's eyes to change a man’s heart.

I love to read historical western stories and this one didn't disappoint! It's so sweet yet has enough conflict to make me want to root for the characters. You HAVE to have this book. :)
A very sweet story. Wonderful characters. The grammar wasn't great and some words were incorrect but a really good story.
Just a clean romance story, no steamy parts. I liked it. Didnt love it, but it had good characters and a good story line.
Dobson Winters is a bitter young man. He lost the love of his life, and their unborn child ten years previously and crawled into a hole and hid. The time is the mid-1800¿s, and Dobson was the town of Cordial¿s founder. When he¿s confronted with a dying man¿s wish, in an unbreakable will, to marry that man¿s Daughter, it is the LAST thing he ever wanted to do. However, the Lord moves in mysterious ways, and Christmas, in Cordial takes on new meaning. This is a really good book, with a lesson to be learned, but not really being preachy about it.
I just love this story! It's so much fun, yet deals with a man in mourning and a woman helping out a family member. There are a few really fun characters in this story, and one amazing story for the holidays. Great job, Nancy! Keep up the wonderful work, with fantastic plots and wonderful characters that I'll remember for years to come. :)
