When Nora leaves her job as a school teacher to open a Jane Austen Bed and Breakfast with her friends—and finally get a chance to write her novel—she’s relieved to escape the escalating threats of violence from an unknown student stalker, and more than a little interested in the Navy SEAL who’s after her heart. But when trouble starts stalking her at Chance Creek, Nora begins to wonder if she’s left her past behind after all.

Can Clay and Nora find a way to be together when everything is trying to tear them apart?

The most ridiculous book I have ever read. Nothing was said about it being about a "reality" show plot. If I had know I don't have bothered to buy this book. Same story line as mailed order bride series except Ms. Cora decide to add the reality show plot but it is still the same plot. Maybe Ms. Cora needs to take a break to write an original series and not keep writing the same one with a minor change.

I'm going to be honest, when I started the first couple of pages I wasn't to sure because I hadn't read the first book in the series yet. I thought maybe I had made a mistake by reading this one first. I should not have had any doubts, Cora Seton is amazing and this new book did not disappoint. Clay and Nora's story has a hint of suspense do to the stalker, at first I was thinking ghost, lol. Once I started getting into this book I was hooked, very hard to put down. The ladies living in regency style puts a different spin on things and who can resist a sexy military man, whither active duty or retired. I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the series and finding out how the small community grows and how everyone's relationships bloom. Thank You Cora Seton for yet again a great book!!

Cora Seton nails it once again. Clay and Nora's story has it all, romance, amazing chemisty, laughs, tears and even a crazy stalker! Plus you will get to visit with a few characters from our favorite town of Chance Creek. Do not miss out on this hot new military/cowboy series. Looking forward to the next story.

Clay has designed sustainable homes that he and his ex-SEAL buddies are building in Chance Creek, Montana. Building this community is part of a reality TV show. The man financing this project has added rules like all the men have to be married within a year and 3 must have babies. There is an old mansion on the property that 5 women have opened as a B & B. They had all quit their jobs with the plan of living a simpler life in the way Jane Austin would have lived including the way they dressed. They all planned to pursue their dreams like painting, writing and music while running the B & B. Nora was one of the women staying in the mansion and as soon as Clay saw her, he was hooked. But Nora didn't want to jump into a relationship too fast so she held back. This is not a typical romance in any way. There were so many twists in this story like a stalker, the show's camera crew that followed them everywhere, and Clay’s irritating father. The setting is so unusual with the men building a sustainable community and the women living a Regency lifestyle that I had a hard time getting into the book at first and if it wasn't that I love Cora Seton's writing so much, I probably would have stopped reading. I'm glad I continued though. It's a good story with lots of ups and downs for the characters. It made me laugh and cry while keeping me on the edge of my seat at times with suspense. The characters were great and I could feel their heartache, fear and joy. I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. I can't wait to read more from Ms. Seton.

It starts out slow but once you get involved in the story, it becomes quite enjoyable. Although, as part of this series, I am not a big fan of reality TV and as this has something to do with all the books in this series, I got irritated by it and understood why I didn't watch reality tv. The premise is that the next in line, Clay, has 40 days to court and marry one of the women. There is only one he wants and she thinks(of course) that 40 days is not long enough to get to know someone. Other characters were introduced and you learned more about them, and I thought it was cool that the ladies were dressing as Regency period ladies. Overall, a great story.

Amazing book, keeps you on the edge & ends the way you want it to, the guy gets his girl. Can't wait for the next in the series.

This is probably the most ridiculous story I've ever read and I've read aboit 500 books over the past 3 years and have librarian status on Goodreads. The idea that people would agree to basically be held hostage and be forced to marry and get pregnant on a TV show all to save the planet from climate change makes me laugh. And if that isn't bad enough they throw in the Regency stuff. Cora Seton, you can do better than this.
