Do you ever feel like the odd man out?  Do you see everyone else

Do you ever feel like the odd man out?  Do you see everyone else as "having it all together" or being "the total package"?  This book explores those feelings from a lot of sides.  Most people aren't aware that the people that seem to have it all- looks, money, being popular- feel just like they do.  And they are really envious of us!  Because they think we have something they don't.  This book also shows us the One that REALLY loves us- where we are at, the way we are and are calling us to Him.  This book works as a comfortable read but is thoroughly inspiring and uplifting.  I was sad to see it end.

    Good read!

Slow start but well worth sticking with it. Characters are not what they seem, as is the case in real life. Very enlightening as to the work of the Holy Spirit in every day life no matter what the problems. Well written and very good story line.

Rebecca Avery is a college student who does not have much self confidence, sees herself as ordinary, and keeps to herself most of the time. She has a roommate in college, Holly, who to Rebecca, is one of the "beautiful" people and out of her league. Rebecca meets Eric Barnett, a nice, handsome guy in her Psychology class. Eric is battling a few "demons" of his own and aims to please everyone, at the cost of his own dreams.  They both get thrown together unexpectedly, leading to an unusual friendship, a love triangle and more complications than either of them can handle. Falling in love was not part of the plan.

I enjoyed this book because it speaks to those of us who have felt inadequate, unworthy and unloved.  It brings forth that we all need to  look at our innermost selves to find answers and opening our life to God will bring its own spiritual reward.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Good story...romance without being graphic or too fast in developing the relationship. Christian principles without being preachy. Makes you think. Will look for more stories by this author.

    Awesome!
This book is for anyone who felt they just didn't measure up.
All of the feelings of inadequacy, black sheep syndrome, prodigal child, the one who just wasn't good enough are explained in this book. I didn't want to finish it!
