After yet another summer, boy-crazy cousins Beth, Ella, and Kelsi all seem to have settled down. Beth has found true love in long time boyfriend George, even after the summer drama that almost ended their relationship in book two of this series. Ella, who prides herself in her appearance and flirtatious personality, has finally let a summer fling carry over to the school year and, though perfect boyfriend Jeremy lives miles away, Ella is sure the long-distance relationship can be worked out. Ella's self-conscious older sister, Kelsi, finds that her inexperience may play a big role in whether or not her boyfriend Tim can handle her no-sex policy after he lets his whole fraternity think they are sleeping together. The new school year turns out to be almost as dramatic as the steamy summer they all left behind as these girls try to hold on to their summer loves or, in Ella's case, decide if the new boy is hotter then the one she already has. This novel, like the other "Summer Boys Novels" in this best selling series, is written in alternating viewpoints that the reader has to be aware of, or they might end up very confused. Also a bit confusing is the fourth cousin Jamie, who makes a few cameos in online discussions but does not get her own chapters. The reader is left unsure of her role in the novel. Overall this novel quenches a teenager's thirst for drama, boys, and teenage scandal, but has no place in the classroom.

    amazing

    I just finished last summer it was great, this book was before it, i really liked this book yeahh sure it was slower because they wernt in pebble beach. but it was still really great, i think Hailey Abbott is a really great author, and that her writing cannot be compared to anyone else's, George really surprised me in this nocel, because he bacame very rude and ignorant, and self centered, but wait till' the next book, i do no regret buying this book nor the last two, if you dont read all of them you will and i meanWILL be missing out an u WILL be lost too. i love Hailey Abbott she is amazing no more put-downs!!!

    Review

    I say you buy the book. I mean you can't just not buy a book because the ending was not happy. The last 2books were sad but ended good, so i like how she makes this one depressing. People change and i like how she shows that and its not like happy endings happen all the time in the real world. I say worth the $. (:

    This book was really disappointing the first two books were amazing. This one not very good. The ending was O.K. but don't I repeat don't spend your money on this book it's not worth it.

    It was okay

    I am going to spoil it and say that beth and george were my favorite couple it was so sad to see them break up. This one was much shorter than the first two so i am hoping the last one is better.

    excited for school?

    ok ok i know but despie what everyone else is saying i love hialey abbotts summer boys series and i htinkthat although this one wasnt as good as the others it was DEFFINETLY NOT a waste of time!!! if you read the first two the you have to read this one just to see what happens to everyone!! but it is a little depresing i have to admit!!!! but you still HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK!!!

    bleh

    This book was completely disapointing I mean what?????? This first two books in this series were in my words ahhhhmazing. WHat happened? this was disapointing. Don't waist ur $ for this book. Kiss kiss

    Ugh.

    This book was so disappointing. I thought the first two were like, brilliant. & I completely expected this one to be equally so. But it really just sucked. I mean, don't get me wrong, there were SOME good parts, but it's definitely not worth the money or time.

    WOW. . .

    This book isnt the end, you have to keep that in mind while your reading because there is a lot of heartbreak and somewhat of a cliff-hanger. it makes waiting for the next unbearable!!

    Good Book, But Anticlimatic

    This a good Summer Boys novel from the series. It has all the characters, and they each have equal time in the book. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the fact that the ending just stopped, but it set up a good place to start the next new Summer Boys book! It's a cliffhanger ending...one of the worst!

    Great Book

    I loved this book. I think all the drama really relates to every teen girl and thats what makes it so good. After about the third chapter I couldn't put it down. The book was amazing.

    I loved this book ! Hailey Abbott is such a great writer because you can relate so well with the charecters in this book. It wasnt as great as the first 2 summer boys novels. I cant wait till the last summer comes out.

    I've read better

    I loved the first two Summer Boys novels, but this one dissapointed me. There wasn't alot of juicy scenes, most of it heartbreak. Hopefully this was just a link for the fourth book comming out later! I would recommend reading it if you've enjoyed the first two sequels, it continues the story of the cousin's interesting lives.
