United by an urgent goal but for separate reasons, an inconceivable team is forged. From the luxury hotels of downtown Singapore to the frenetic streets of New Orleans's French Quarter, Sydney finds herself with little time to decide if she's been given the chance to amend ancient history or if she's being lethally played.

I found that reading this book the whole series started coming together. I've read the regular Alias books and now that there are the APO series it completes the whole series. I like the fact that in the book Sydney goes through the reasons why she is not like Arvin Sloane. When the person that Sydney needs to go to New Orleans with says that Sydney and Arvin have so much in common Sydney looks back at the good she has done and the bad Arvin has done and says to herself that she is in no way like Sloane. At the end of the book I like how she realizes that in some ways she is like Sloane. I love how the author brings the characters to life and when I read the book I can picture Sydney and the other woman fighting.

Overview
Taking orders again from Arvin Sloane is enough for agent Sydney Bristow's life to feel turned upside down. But when an old adversary resurfaces and begs specifically for her help, Sydney is forced to confront ever-changing alliances -- and the disturbing question of just how much she and her former enemy have in common.
