I was looking forward to reading Davis Bunn's new book but didn't really know what to expect. I'm glad that I kept an open mind while reading because he blew me away with this book! It was such an interesting twist (hello - we're talking about a special ops accountant here people!) and in the first quarter of the book Wayne manages to wrap up the old people's trouble. I thought that was going to be the main jist, but noooo, it was only getting started there! And can we say supporting cast? We have a retired cop with a thing against juvies, an old man that sits in airports in his spare time and a 13 year old juvie. Oh, and there is an old lady who stays in close contact with God and they all live in a retirement village. Don't forget that Wayne isn't a Christian and his sister is a member of the cloth. Hmmm, and that is only the beginning. This is a must read people - don't miss out!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Anyone looking for a good christian book that has a lot of action and is fast paced, will love this book. It leaves you with a strong message without being "preachy"!

I truly enjoyed the mixture of great characters and how very different they were, yet how they were same.
Wayne is my kind of hero, not perfect, but a wonderful man who just needs grace like the rest of us.
I hope to find a book #2 as there certainly is a lot more to this story.
Good plot though I would have liked to see the romance resolved. Also deals with God and faith.

I'm always looking for Christian authors I haven't read before. I found Bunn by looking through the local Christian bookstore sale paper and when I looked up the authors on BN I was thrilled to find another free book. The story is great! Can't wait to finish it!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANY CHRISTIAN PERSON WHO DOSE NOT MIND A LITTLE ACTION BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT IS ALSO TOUCHING. I MUST ADMIT THERE WAS TIMES I FELT LIKE JUST GRABBING A GUN AND TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS AND ALSO CRYING AT HOW MUCH IT MADE ME REALIZE I NEED CHRIST. READ IT YOU HAVE TO.
