Such a great story!
Living in a small community where everyone knows your business certainly has its drawbacks, but also can be huge blessings. This story proves that money can't buy you love and happiness.
Cole - growing up on the wrong side of the tracts, grows up in life and is worth millions. Growing up on the plantation, he watched his father work on the mansion and be humiliated by the master. Never once being appreciated from the master, Cole goes out in the world and makes something of himself.
Elinor - grows up away from the plantation because of a long ago fight between her father and grandfather. Both males in her life are all about money and snubs those that have none. Elinor can stand rich people. All she wants is to be loved and thought of as important by her family.
Together, both Cole and Elinor have to face their demons. Menwhile love grows between them until Coles lies are found out at the local peach celebration.
Will Cole and Elinor ever find true happiness? If you had to choose between happiness and everything else in life you wanted, which would you choose?
A keeper for my library!

Free and fabulous. I really enjoyed this story. The characters were believable. I could feel Cole's pain...do I tell her the truth or don't I? You won't be disappointed in this love story.

Really love this book, wish the sex was less intertwined with the story, I think it would have been good without it as well.

The setting was a southern cozy town that only exists in fiction! The story line is a "fill-in" the names. The only suprise was the outfits worn by the woman's guild while dishing peach ice cream!
The editing was disappointing. It did remind me to appreciate good editors.

This book grabbed my attention from the first chapter and never let go. It keeps you reading to find out what happens next. I read it 2 days, couldn't put it down. Love a good romance and this is one!!

It proved that money isnt everything and its better to give than to receive. After loosing her father and grandfather to greed, El decides that she cant lose her heart to a millionairre playboy...no matter how cute he is. It was a fun read with a couple steamy scenes but nothing racy.

Thought the book had a cute story line but the overview does not acurately describe the book. El does not try to stop Cole from buying the house. She doesn't even know it's him that bought it till she sells it. She questions and has doubts about his project but thats it. Cute story, worth the read. :-)

Shallow characters that lie to get what they want. I gave up and dumped this after a few chapters.

This book got on my last nerve. 313 pages and she didn't get a clue until page 311...really. This book was just words on pages and the only reason I finished it was because I can't just NOT finish a book. Don't waste your time.
