I really enjoyed this book as a whole! I would have given this book 5 stars, but unfortunately there were so many grammatical and word errors in this book that it was almost hard to read at times. It got very annoying and troublesome for me, but that's my only complaint! It did go by quite fast, but thats a good complaint to have! All and all I loved the book, but the errors made it a bit of a nuscience to me.

So when I picked up this book I knew I love it. And with the unique twist on the story, I fell in love with it.
Besides the fact that it is a modern day re-tale of Hades and Persephone I really like the pursuit of it. I like that Hades chased Persephone and that she was unaware. The plot of the book is action filled and keeps you at the edge of your seat. I liked the development of Persephone feelings and the way she acted. To see her change and get to know Hades is wonderful.
Obviously we all know the love interest, but what also caught my eye is the attraction to Adonis. I love that Persephone seems certain but uncertain at the same time. It's creates for much more drama to come. Overall, I loved it!
Asphodel captures every bit of your imagination. Lots of running, righting, and emotions flowing off the pages. Asphodel is the start of trilogy that I know I will come quickly addicted to!

I thought it was ok. There were several grammatical errors that after awhile were just too distracting to ignore. Also Persephone really bugged me. She tried to act all brave but was a big blubbering baby through most of the book. That might not bother you so much but i prefer the protagonist to have a little bit more of a back bone. The idea was good and the book is only 99¿. However I personally like "The Goddess Test" better.

Ahhhhh! I loved it! I simply can not wait for the next book! I highly recommend this book! It is sort of has a beauty and the beast feel to it. The only thing bad I can say is it has a few typos but nothing to major. I would have paid way more for this book it is that good! :)

I absolutely loved this book. I honestly couldn't put it down. The heroine in this novel is slightly predictable amd the hero, Hades himself, is completely intriguing

Ok.....seriously?? Lauren Hanmond, do you just poop gold?! I really did not expect to like this book as much as I did. Clearly I have read other books by the author, and just reading the blurb from this one I really had my doubts. I was very pleasently surprised. I liked the mix of modern and mythology. I enjoyed hearing Hades and Persephone's story. It was neat to see a different side to the, pretty much ultimate bad boy. I just hope the second book comes out soon! I would love to read more of this series!!!!

Wow!! This book almost brought me to tears! In the seventh and early eighth grade I had one teacher who loved greek mythology, and it seems that she passed it along to me. Because of this book I constantly view life from the eyes of people like Hades and Persophone. I recomend this book for ages 12plus. There are many errors in grammer, but its still a great book!!!
I hope you love it!!!

The grammar in this book was terrible! It was a very interesting story and I got sucked in right away, but there were so many errors that it was difficult to read at times. Just so you know, it ends on a cliffhanger and the second book isn't out yet, so don't read it if you don't like being tortured.
