"Another scorching up-all-night read by Kendall Ryan... The chemistry between Nolan and Lacey is off the charts. Lusty and forbidden and heart-melting all at once. What begins as a sizzling physical attraction quickly becomes so much more. Highly recommend!" ―#1 New York Times bestselling author Meredith Wild

This is the 6th or 7th book i've read from this author and ihave to say her best writing so far. Initially I was turned off by the book description. I don't enjoy reading about love triangles but I'm glad i decided to read it. Some reviewers had mentioned how it wasn't a normal love triangle and it's not. It's very clear from the beginning where he stands with each of the women and it never felt like cheating to me which is usually my biggest concern. In the end I liked both women for very different reasons but I knew early on who he was going to choose and he didn't disappoint. The ending was so sweet. I felt bad for one and loved that as a reader we got to see her have a happy ending too.

Nolan is a hot alpha with his routine and life set. In comes Lacey to turn his world upside down. Lacey also has her world turned upside down from what she is running from and from Nolan. They slowly build a relationship that scares them both. A great read. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Kendall Ryan is one of my all time favorite authors. Her books never disappoint. This one included. The first in her new series, Alpha's Undone, we meet Nolan Maxwell, former Navy Seal just trying to have a normal life after being in the military for 6 years. Enter Lacey Barton. Cute, down to earth, and charming. She makes Nolan feel things he doesn't want to feel or never felt before. But her reason for being there could make it all go away in one night. Oh, and don't forget Daniella, Nolan's roommate. And did I mention she was his submissive too? Kendall writes a wonderful romance story that deals with something very dark. If you read the Author's Note in the back you will understand. It's what drove Lacey to make the decisions she did and take the plan of action she did. But in the end, does Nolan's love for her win out? Nolan starts out as a tough guy who doesn't want to find love. He's the one night stand kind of guy. You fall in love with his tough exterior and comforting, protective interior until Lacey comes along and makes him find mushy feelings and he isn't sure what to do. At first, I thought Lacey was a little manipulative where Daniella was concerned, but I give Lacey credit for fighting for her man, even though Nolan was honest from the very beginning with Lacey where Daniella stood in his life. I honestly read this book in one night. I just kept turning the pages to see what happened next. I wanted to see what Lacey was hiding and how she knew Nolan or knew of him and how it was all connected. Very cleverly written once all the dots were connected. Kendall has a way of making you think when you read, she also makes you want to read faster to get to the answer and see if there is a HEA at the end or not. Another favorite by Kendall Ryan. Looking forward to reading about Greyson Archer's story next in the upcoming Slow & Steady book.

Kendall Ryan delivers an unexpected romance, with a kinky and eccentric twist! Romance, relationships, just flat-out LOVE, was not something Nolan ever wanted. Living life day to day, he thought his life was near perfect. He had his freedom back after leaving the Navy, and a so-called revolving door of women at his disposal. I mean come on!...with the looks and body he has, how could he not! Throw in an unconventional friendship with Daniella, his "roommate with benefits", and Nolan was set. Or so he thought... Lacey needed a fresh start. Running from a mysterious past, Texas looked like the best place. Set out on the goal to feel safe and protected, she meets Nolan - charismatic, alluring, and the sexiest man she's ever seen. She not only wanted, but needed to get to know him better. Lacey's desire for Nolan was not something she anticipated finding in Texas. And upon agreeing to the only way to having any type of relationship with him, she's beginning to doubt her ability to keep her emotions under control. Nolan was captivated instantly by Lacey. Her beauty and innocence appealed to him like no other. But what makes her so different from the other gorgeous woman he could have? All Nolan knew was he had to find out for himself. But what happens when a stronger connection is formed, and his two worlds collide?...and secrets are exposed. I loved the way Kendall progressed Nolan and Lacey's relationship. The slow build was so refreshing to read, and the story was very unique. You don't find many slow paced, erotic romances! And I was very surprised at the outcome of Nolan and Daniella's friendship...I was expecting something completely different. I only wish the ending was a little more drawn out. At the pace at which the characters were progressing, it just seemed too abrupt of a conclusion. But overall, I loved this book! Kudos, Kendall!...for delivering a unique and stimulating HEA! A definite MUST READ!

Lacey and Nolan meet at a bar and instantly he is intrigued by her. Even though he has a "relationship" with Danielle, his roommate, he sees other people. Danielle and he were in a D/s relationship and they both got something out of it. He got the control he still needed after leaving the SEAL's and she got the subspace she required. Lacey is unsure of how their relationship works but she needs Nolan for something different anyway. Lacey was quite difficult to grasp at times, especially when all her secrets come to light and you wonder at the choices and decisions she made. Both were a mess but worked well together in the end. Nolan was able to forgive her lies and deceit pretty quickly for me so that was a bit hard to believe. Other than that it was definitely a different tale and an easy read.

4.5 stars I'm a huge fan of Kendall Ryan. I read all of her books and she's constantly coming up with new, fresh ideas. Bait & Switch is a little different than the usual Kendall Ryan story. Nolan doesn't believe in love. He's seen too many things go wrong in his life. He is perfectly happy with his work, friend and roommate Daniella. His relationship with Daniella isn't romantic, but it is sexual. She's a submissive and a few years ago need help and a place to live. Now, Nolan takes care of her needs as well as his own, but when he meets the lovely Lacey, his world gets complicated. Lacey is hiding something. She didn't just show up and accidentally meet Nolan, but her plan quickly turns into something real. When Nolan and Lacey are together, is makes him wish he believed in love and happily ever after. Lacey agrees to share him, but when things get tough she doesn't think she can. Add to that a dangerous call from Nolan's boss and you have a crazy ride of emotions! I loved how honest these characters are and how they don’t try to run from their hearts. I can't wait for Greyson's story! "You're my light, my warmth, and my sunshine." His face, his kiss, his generous soul, even his maimed heart - everything about Nolan made my skin tingle and my heart race.

§4.5 Stars§ I was so excited to read this story after seeing the book trailer for it. If you had not had the pleasure of viewing it, allow me to post the link for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxnzE... Kendall Ryan knows how to deliver the heat and it starts on the very first page! Just so you know, you'll have to read this book to understand the storyline but Nolan is not a cheater. I mean c'mon! He's a Navy Seal, you know he's honorable! He found out that he needed these two women for very different reasons. Daniella and Nolan both were sort of using each other as a shield to protect themselves from acquiring a broken heart. Then he meets Lacey. He can't bring himself to treat her like all of his other side dishes. Waiting on their romance to play out was one of the best things about Bait & Switch. I was honestly surprised to find out who Lacey was. I kind of thought the "special assignment" had something to do with her, but I never thought that was the reason why Nolan's boss was so concerned about it. It's really hard not to give away any spoilers, by the way, but I'm trying. I did find it a little odd that Nolan didn't pressure Lacey to find out more when she told him she was running from something. He is an ex-Navy Seal after all, it seems like he would want to know what he's getting into, but to be fair, he was already protective of her and maybe in too deep. Of course, everything is explained near the end and it all comes together in a good way. You do get an HEA. Kendall Ryan shares a personal story with her readers in the author's note. It was a situation that gave her a deeper connection to this story. I think it was brave of her to include it and it's great that she trusts her readers so much that she knows she can share things like that. Greyson's book is next and it sounds great! I can't wait to read it! This book releases on 2.9.16 and you should definitely grab a copy!

Bait and Switch is a pulse-pounding, suspense-laden, addictive start to an exciting new series by Kendall Ryan. This book was a scintillating blend of mystery, drama, love and romance, betrayal, confusion, and self-revelation. Consistently paced, superbly written, and with well-developed characters, I blew through this one in no time. Nolan likes to be in control, in every aspect of his life. Having relegated love to the 'never never' pile, he is settled in his Dom relationship with sub Daniella, and he has himself convinced that he is happy. Enter the lovely Lacey and his world turns upside down. This book has a rather unconventional love triangle that I found very intriguing and refreshing. Certainly, I haven't read anything like it before. Kendall expertly crafted the story, demonstrating the different emotions of the three players with precision and skill. I felt the maelstrom of emotions, the conflict and unease, distrust and jealousy, angst and upset. I always love a book that combines mystery/suspense with a healthy dose of sexy times and this book delivered in spades. I found myself feeling sympathetic toward all three of them, however, I was rooting for Lacey and Nolan the whole time. I also enjoyed Grey's character, and I look forward to reading Slow and Steady next. The plot was fairly predictable, and it was building to a certain point, which I then felt was quite rushed in its execution. Two main things were standout for me: Characterization, and the slow progression of the relationship between Nolan and Lacey. I loved how patient he was with her, how he let her set the pace, and how realistically it developed. It was sweet and sensual and totally captivating. All in all this was a great read, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. I look forward to continuing this series. Thanks to the publisher and Inkslinger PR for providing a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I love Kendall Ryan and her books and I thing I've read pretty much everything she wrote. So it is not a big surprise that I jumped at the chance to read this one :) Well, I can honestly say that I wasn't disappointed. The story is intriguing and suspenseful, fast paced and deep with just a sprinkle of humour and a healthy dose of hotness. I have to be honest and say that I had some doubts about the story. From the blurb, I was kind of left with the impression that it is going to be something like a love triangle or there would be some cheating involved, and I am definitely not into that. But thankfully, nothing like that is involved. It is kind of on the border but it doesn't cross it. At least from my POV. There is some suspense involved though and some quite unexpected twists and turns that will keep you on your toes most of the time. The characters are quite intriguing. The stories of both Lacey and Nolan are incredibly heartbreaking and emotional and I could feel their pain through every word. Especially Nolan's. I have to say that his story brought tears to my eyes on more than one occasion. So it wasn't that surprising for me that he runs from commitment like it is the plague. But once he meets Lacey, something in him changes and before he realizes it, he is already in too deep. Lacey on the other hand, is so sweet and in many ways, the complete opposite of Nolan. But somehow, they fit perfectly together. So in a few words, this was a great read. It had everything necessary for a page turner. I mean, who can resist a hot ex navy SEAL carrying scars from his past and a sweet and strong girl that needs hero to protect her. Add to that the suspense and burn the sheets chemistry, and I am a goner :) I just can't wait for the second book in the series to come out :) This review was originally posted at Living In Our Own Story Book Blog. I received an ARC of the book in exchange of an honest review.

OMG loved this book so hard!!!!! I swear Kendall Ryan out does herself every time. Nolan is like a dream guy....i mean former Navy Seal...check. Hot as hell...check. Likes to do wicked things to girls...check. Loves to protect women...check. I mean really could you ask for anything more...NO!!!!! I mean Lacey sure you want to dislike her at first with all her lies but i mean she did it for a good reason. I loved the ending as well and I was glad to see Daniella was doing good. I cant wait to see what comes next from this series.

Nolan gives me that perfect Alpha male, retired Navy SEAL that doesn’t want commitment so he’s known for his one-night stands along with having an BDSM relationship with his roommate Danielle. Daniella has been broken and Nolan provides the rescue she needs along with the BDSM encounters in the bedroom to keep her sane. What happens when Nolan suddenly meets someone that tests all the boundaries he has in place? Lacey seeks out Nolan, she finds herself in a dangerous situation and knows that Nolan can provide the protection she needs. What she doesn’t expect is to be attracted to Nolan, wanting more than a causal relationship. Of course, Lacey has secrets so what happens when those secrets are revealed? Will Nolan be able to forgive her? Can Nolan make a long-term commitment? Loved every moment of this crazy sexy ride. Definitely not your typical romance but it gave me so much more with the complexities between Nolan, Daniella and Lacey.

I received a advanced copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. I have read all Kendall's books and have enjoyed them all but she knocked this one out of the park. This is her best work to date! OH MY!!! Nolan is Kendall's sexiest male character yet! When he wants something he goes after it and right now he wants Lacey! And he tells her just how he wants her and doesn't hold anything back. I loved the storyline and the characters created and that it was told in the POV of both the main characters. The chemistry between Nolan and Lacey was off the charts! I had trouble putting this one down it is definitely a page turner and had me hooked from the very first page. It is a standalone that will leave you begging for more! I can't wait for the second book in this series.

This book was short but the story was so well written that it doesn't seem short.
