The Baltimore Catechism's complete title is A Catechism of Christian Doctrine, Prepared and Enjoined by Order of the Third Council of Baltimore. It was the basic Catholic school text used from 1885 to 1966's. The Baltimore Catechism was the first such text written in North America.
