Overview

From the same author that brought you the Flint series, comes a new town . . . a new drama. Treasure Hernandez is back with her second street series chronicling both sides of Baltimore's black market.

Derek Fuller is the head detective of the Baltimore Narcotics Division. His team has been assigned to take down the biggest drug operation in the city. There's only one problem . . . the head of the operation is his twin brother, Scar Johnson. Separated in Baltimore's foster care system, they came from two different walks of life, but both met at the top on opposite sides of the law. With the Assistant District Attorney in their back pocket, this was a marriage made in heaven—until the drama and deceit enters.

Delve into this treacherous story of love, deceit, lies, and murder. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and once one brother feels betrayed, the only retribution is death.

    Two Thumbs Down-Waste Of Money!!!!

Everything about the book sucked.....it seems as though the book was rushed & threw together....from the characters to the plot, nothing was Baltimore about the book....the author really utilized the thesaurus though Lol....words that I completely understood & knew the meaning to, but too much for a street fiction novel....absolutely no action or suspense throughout the book....whack read and such a boring book....I wouldn't recommend this to my fellow readers....

Ok, so I've finished this book in about a week. Didn't think I was going to make it. Not for the lack of trying, but I have other issues going on. This isn't the first book that I've read by Treasure, because I'm familiar with the Flint series as well. This book was gangsta, gritty, & raw. Nothing new there. It was a tad bit on the short side, but I've come to expect that from the author. I think that's how the author hooks you in and gets you to continue reading the books in the series. It held my attention throughout the book and I liked the twists it had around each corner. I will most certainly be reading the rest of the series.

    Good Read

A great read but too short. You would have to buy the whole set at the same time in order to fully enjoy the story.

    I liked it

The book was a good read. A lot of crazy drama.I did feel that it was a bit rushed, but I was ready to get the second book in hand.
