Sheriff Volger's inundated with the Conways' murder investigation, and Detective Barry arrives from Houston to assist. Clues lead Volger and Barry to Topas' pregnant fiancee and the hunt's on for Jack Moon, who discovers that Barry isn't quite the man everyone believes him to be.
A.E.H. Veenman was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, where she majored in music at Arts High School and then Criminal Justice at New Jersey City University. Having relocated to The Netherlands, she obtained her American law degree abroad from a college in Switzerland. She worked remotely as a literary director for a Wisconsin literary agency then started her own in early 2005.
Later that year, she began her legal career in the video games industry for a digital content creation studio in Amsterdam. Her list of credits includes Overlord by Triumph Studios, Saint's Row by THQ, Terminator Salvation by Warner, and Gears of War and Unreal Tournament 3 by Epic Games.
Veenman's first novel, All Waters Gathering, was released in 2003. In 2011, Aspen Mountain Press (http://www.aspenmountainpress.com) will publish Veenman's second and third novels, Carruther's Place (GBLT Romance) and Barbecue (Murder Thriller).
