My husband & I just finished the Atlantis series of 6 books by Robert Doherty. Great Stories, exciting, wonderful characters. Like potato chips & cats, you can't have just one, so we read all 6 back-to-back! If you like Science Fiction this is the series for you. However, our one complaint is not with the writer, but the ebook publisher. There are so may spelling error, typos, unfinished sentences, repeated sentences...you get the picture. Anyway, they don't really detract from the story, but are just darned annoying when reading the ebook. We both read books fast, but this did make it difficult at times. Now, all the books were like this, some had less than others, but like I said, we did love the stories...so highly recommend!!

Using Robert Frost as a character was intriguing. Fire and ice--cool

Again, Bob Mayer has succeeded in weaving History, Legend and Science Fiction into a wonderfully enjoyable series of books, Atlantis, concluding with 'Battle For Atlantis'. After being thoroughly entertained while reading the Area 51 Series, I could not wait to dive into the 'Atlantis' Series. I was not disappointed. My only regret is that each book in this Series had fewer pages than those in the Area 51. That tells you how much I wanted more! I will say that the theme of 'individual sacrifice for the greater good' which permeates all of Mr. Mayer's books is one that the World needs to hear more often. For History and Science Fiction appreciados, you will love reading the Atlantis Series, culminating in 'Battle for Atlantis'.
