Bone Magic is a fabulous entry as master mage Yasmine Galenorn keeps making life increasingly demanding for the three siblings

Otherworld Intelligence Operator Camille D'Artigo is spirit-bonded and married to Smokey the dragon Smokey and Mario the demon fox. She loves both males, but also misses her beloved soul mate Svartan Trillian. Meanwhile the dragon clan demand Smoky chooses them over his human or face consequences. At the same time Camille wonders how Trillian will react to her matings; she and her sisters struggle to locate a new demon general destroying everything.

When her siblings continue the search, the Moon Mother and Black Beast order Camille to come to Otherworld. She is ecstatic as she assumes she will see Trillian. However, as the Equinox arrives, she has a much more complicated scenario awaiting her. The war has gotten hotter and Camille is caught in a ritual that means life and death, but not just for her.

Camille is front and center as her convoluted life gets even more knotted in her latest escapades this time in Otherworld as evil seems one bloody step ahead of her and her siblings. Although it helps to read the previous tales in this super fantasy (see Demon Mistress and Night Huntress, etc.) to better comprehend how far and complex the lives of the D'Artigo sisters have come, Bone Magic is a fabulous entry as master mage Yasmine Galenorn keeps making life increasingly demanding for the three siblings.

Camille faces a lot of hard decisions and changes in this book.

Camille faces a lot of hard decisions and changes in this book. There are new opponents to be dealt with, and you wonder how the sisters and their entourage are going to handle everything. You get to meet up with a few of the characters from previous books, and of course meet new ones. Smoky has not been telling Camille the whole truth, and you wonder if he is going to remain by her side. Trillian is back in the picture and has faced hardships from the war. Will he accept that Camille married Smoky and Morio? While Camille visits Otherworld she has to choose if she will do something life changing. Not only is that a big plot point, the triple threat comes to Camille with a proposition that she is not sure if she should refuse. I could hardly put this book down, and this was a re-read from the past. Major kudos to Yasmine Galenorn for writing such a great series.

    Fun read as always.

I've enjoyed everyone of Yasmine's Sisters of the Moon series. They never disappoint. This book is like the others; fun, lively, and too short. Read it and all the others! 'Nuff said.

    great book!

I used to read Laurell K. Hamilton - until it became all about sex. I picked up this series, and it is excellent. A little sex in this book (more descriptive than I really care for), but overall this book and all of the ones in the series before it have been really very good. You get to feel like you know the characters, as if they are your friends. Yasmine Galenorn is a great author, and I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

    I Also Recommend:

    A Bewitchingly Super-Fast Read

I strongly recommend you read this series in order (Witchling, Changeling, Darkling, Dragon Wytch, Night Huntress and Demon Mistress) prior to reading this installment. I vowed to never read this series again due to the unnecessary overly graphic sex scenes (that were totally horrible btw). However, reading the short story in Hexed made me a bit nostalgic to see what the sisters have been up to. Surprisingly, I did enjoy this installment. Camille¿s behavior was not reprehensible like it was in Dragon Wytch. I didn¿t have a hard time skipping through the few sex scenes and just sticking to the actually story. Camile¿s personality was a bit inconsistent with past installments though. In this installment, she is weak personality wise and less confident. She seemed more interested in hiding behind someone else¿s skirt/trousers instead of having them hide behind her, so to speak. Other than Camile¿s slight attitude shift, the story was consistently enjoyable and the sex was not overly outrageous. The author¿s creativity kept the story flowing nicely without ceasing. I flew through this book and look forward to reading the next book in the series Harvest Hunting. I recommend this series to those fellow dark urban fantasy readers.

    Well done once again

Yasmine Galenorn has done it again. Just when I think there's no place else for this story to go, she finds another twig to toss into the fire. As always, she makes life Earthside and in Otherworld feel like normal life to me. Add in all the quirky and loveable characters, and Bone Magic is another hit in my book.

The Sisters are at it again!

Fans of the Sisters of the Moon will not be disappointed with this installment to the series. As always the book is from the view point of one of the sisters, in this case Camille the Moon Witch, and entails the solving of a mystery on their way to saving both the Otherworld and our world. Her Alpha lover, Trillian, missing in the last novels, finally makes an appearance again and poor Camille is stuck trying to juggle the 3 men she loves while fighting demons, learning new magic, and living with an ever growing household of characters. We get to spend some more time in the Otherworld in this tale and learn more about the source of some of Camille friends' and her sister's powers and talents. In this installment we even lose one character to the powers of evil!

way to much new confusions added to the mix no real forward motion.

I've read a the entire series and we seem to have drifted more to the incredible unbelievable (which i realize is an inept statement for science fiction) personal relationships and not enough of the continuing story line of seal gathering ect. Leaving way to many questions and a lack of accomplishment in the reading.

    Bone Magic

Seventh in this series about a trio of half elven half human women. They're caught between two worlds battling the forces of evil who look to take over both those worlds. The world of Fae meets modern day Seattle. Excellent writing style, a must read from book one to present.

    Great Series

This is the seventh in this series. I find this collection extremely interesting as the characters are ever evolving. I am interested to see where this series is headed. Generally, seven books into a series things start to become predicatable in that as the reader you usually jnow how a character is going to respond to a given situation, not in this series so far. I like it!

    AWESOME READ!

This is one book that captures me in every way I could not put it down till I had finished the last page and now I'm depressed. Hopefully waiting for the next in this series.

    Loved it!

I was so excited to read the 7th installment in the Otherworld series! each time I read one of Galenorn's books, I find myself sucked into their world. Such as this one.

I can truly see things through Camille's eyes. And even though me and her are very different, I'm not annoyed or bored with her as i would be normally.

This series is a GREAT read, and i'm sad I have to wait until October for Delilah's turn
