    Solid crime drama

    The author was signing at the local B&N, so I grabbed it, and though this isn't typically my cup of tea, I was pleasantly surprised. The plot and characters were compelling, and I especially liked the protagonist (partly because I didn't always like him) and enjoyed his development/arc. Bonk's Bar is a crime drama with a Philly edge that's worth reading particularly if you're a fan of the genre.

    I enjoyed Daniel's book. It felt like I was living the book. The characters seemed very real and believable. It is a fast read and one I didn't want to put down!

    Realistic

    Putkowski did an amazing job of bring the old neighborhood back to life. Character development was excellent. He made each character so believable that frequent reminders are necessary that this is fiction. Ending was unexpected but delightful. Thanks for a wonderful read!
