Now that the mystery of the background story has come out the story has lost some of its interest. My biggest problem with Colleen and Eric's story is Colleen. Her treatment of Eric was just so annoying. A handsome, rich, doctor, and all-around-nice guy and she still had so much to complain about. I couldn't figure out why he fell in love with her. If you started with this novel, backtrack and read Mari/Marc and Liam/Natalie's stories. So much better. It is because of those two stories that I will give Deirdres story a chance when it is published.
